Crosman Model 187 Bolt Action CO2 Air Rifle .177 Caliber
Sold for: $60
Description
This Crosman Model 187 is a single-shot bolt-action CO2 air rifle chambered for .177 caliber pellets. The rifle is constructed with a blued steel barrel and receiver mounted into a one-piece wooden stock with a straight comb and a black plastic buttplate. It is equipped with a fixed blade front sight and an adjustable rear leaf sight. Functional features include a manual cross-bolt safety button located on the right side of the stock above the trigger and a knurled metal CO2 cylinder cap at the forward end of the forend. Prominent markings on the left side of the receiver include the manufacturer’s name and model designation Crosman 187 PELLGUN and .177 CAL, along with CROSMAN ARMS CO., INC. FAIRPORT, N.Y., U.S.A. stamped near the rear sight. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The metal components retain a significant amount of their original blued finish, though there are scattered light scratches and handling marks consistent with use. The one-piece wooden stock shows heavy cosmetic wear, including numerous deep scratches, dings, and significant finish loss throughout the forend and buttstock. The bore was not inspected. The bolt action appears to cycle smoothly, and the safety is functional; however, the firearm has not been pressurized or function-tested with CO2.
