Description
This Taurus Model PT-22 is a compact semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in .22 LR, featuring a distinctive tip-up barrel design for easy loading without racking the slide. It is configured with a 2.8 inch barrel and a blued steel slide over a lightweight black frame. The pistol features decorative gold-plated components including the trigger, manual safety lever, barrel release, magazine release button, and grip screws. It is fitted with attractive, contoured smooth rosewood laminate grips. Key markings on the left side of the slide include TAURUS and PT-22, CAL. .22 LR with a second line reading TAURUS INT. MFG. INC.- MADE IN MIAMI, FL USA. The left side of the frame is stamped with the serial number AQD65607. This lot includes one magazine, the original black plastic hard case with a matching factory serial number label, and the factory owner’s manual. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in very good condition. The blued finish on the slide remains deep and consistent across all surfaces. The gold plating shows light thinning on the magazine release button and minor handling wear on the safety lever. The rosewood laminate grips are in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks. The action appears to function correctly and the tip-up barrel mechanism is tight, though the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The magazine and hard case are well-preserved.
