Description

This lot consists of a collection of 16 firearm magazines and related accessories for various rimfire and centerfire handguns and rifles. Included in the assortment are two magazines in their original retail packaging: one ISSC Austria M22 .22LR 10-round magazine and one Mossberg International 803 Plinkster 10-round magazine designed for bolt-action rifles. The group also features a black polymer magazine well or housing component. The loose magazines include several identifiable models, most notably a vintage magazine for a Colt Woodsman with the floorplate marked PLACE IN SAFE POSITION TO REMOVE MAGAZINE and a French Unique magazine for 6.35mm pocket pistols marked 6.35m/m with a circular manufacturer logo. Additional items include a Ruger-branded .22LR magazine, a stainless steel magazine with a thumb-slide follower marked 21001 near the base, a blued magazine marked MADE IN ITALY, and several other blued and nickel-plated magazines for pocket pistols. One magazine follower spring is included in the collection. Verbatim markings observed across the items include ISSC AUSTRIA M22 MAG, MOSSBERG INTERNATIONAL 803 PLINKSTER, ITEM 95803, PLACE IN SAFE POSITION TO REMOVE MAGAZINE, 6.35m/m, MADE IN ITALY, and 21001.

Condition report:

The items in this collection range in condition from new-in-package to well-used. The packaged magazines are in good condition with only minor shelf wear to the plastic blisters and cardstock backing. The loose magazines show varying degrees of bluing wear, surface scratches, and light oxidation consistent with age and handling. The Unique 6.35mm magazine exhibits some surface pitting and significant finish loss. The alloy magazine in the third row shows heavy surface oxidation and a dull, weathered appearance. Followers appear to operate freely under spring tension in the majority of the magazines, though no items have been function-tested for reliability or cycle-tested with live ammunition.
