Description
This lot consists of a collection of 141 rounds of remanufactured .17 Remington caliber rifle ammunition. The cartridges are presented in three translucent plastic ammunition boxes in red, blue, and yellow. These bottlenecked brass cartridges are fitted with copper-jacketed open-tip hollow-point projectiles. Technical markings located on the interior of the box lids include the identifier 11 KEW and specific dates such as MAR 71 and ASSEMBLY DATE 23 FEB 88. The yellow storage case is embossed with the Midway manufacturer logo. The brass cases show darkened coloration at the necks consistent with the annealing process typically employed during the remanufacturing or precision handloading of high-velocity cartridges. The ammunition is organized in staggered rows within each case with a single sample cartridge resting horizontally atop each grouping.
