Description

This lot comprises 236 rifle bullets designed for reloading, all featuring a .25 caliber (.257) diameter. The grouping includes three distinct projectile types from major manufacturers. Featured items include a yellow Speer container marked SPEER, OMARK INDUSTRIES, HOT-COR, and 1405, housing 100 GR. .257 SPITZER soft-point projectiles; the packaging bears a handwritten note of 78 pcs. Also included is a red Hornady box labeled V-MAX, 25 CAL .257 inch, 75 gr V-MAX, and #22520, which contains polymer-tipped varmint bullets in a sealed plastic bag. The third container is a black box marked A NOSLER/WINCHESTER PRODUCT, Combined Technology, and Ballistic Silvertip, specifying 25 / 115 caliber grain (.257 inch) projectiles with product code Bullets 51050 and a handwritten quantity of 36. These copper-jacketed bullets utilize different tip materials, including exposed lead for the Speer spitzers and red polymer for the Hornady V-MAX. The packaging displays various markings such as Supreme Hunting Bullets and shows moderate shelf wear including scuffs, adhesive residue, and handwritten annotations.

Condition report:

The bullets are in good overall condition, appearing as clean, inert components suitable for reloading. The copper jackets show minimal tarnish, and the polymer tips on the Hornady projectiles are intact. The lead tips on the Speer projectiles exhibit light surface oxidation typical of older stock. The original packaging shows significant shelf wear, including corner fraying, scuffs, and handwritten marks, but remains structurally sound for storage.
