Lot 1498:
A Lot of 100 Assorted Federal and Remington 12 Gauge Shotgun Ammunition
Sold for: $30
Description
This lot comprises 100 assorted 12 gauge shotgun shells distributed among four individual cardboard boxes from various manufacturers. The collection includes one Federal Ammunition Field and Target Multi-Purpose Load box, one yellow and green Remington Express Kleanbore Priming box, one green Remington Express Extra Long Range box, and one Federal Premium Black Cloud FS Steel Waterfowl box. A visual inspection of the interior contents confirms that the boxes contain a mismatched assortment of shells rather than uniform original factory loads. Key markings transcribed from the shells include WINCHESTER, 3 1/4 – 28 – 7 1/2, SUPER-X, FEDERAL CLASSIC, WINCHESTER Western AA PLUS 3 – 1 1/8 7 1/2 TRAP, and FEDERAL TARGET 8. The shells consist of red, black, and grey plastic hulls with both brass-plated and silver-colored metal bases. The lot presents a variety of shot sizes and powder charges consistent with field, target, and waterfowl applications. Note – This ammunition is sold as-is and we have not function-tested these rounds.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging is in poor to fair condition, displaying significant shelf wear, tearing, and staining across all four boxes. The individual shells vary in condition, with several metal bases displaying heavy green oxidation and surface corrosion. The plastic hulls show minor scuffs, dust, and marks consistent with age and long-term storage in open containers. All shells appear to be live rounds, though their internal condition is unverified.
