Gun Collectors Dream Auction #84 June 13th & 14th
Lot 1514:
Sold for: $65
Description
This lot consists of five semi-automatic pistol magazines chambered in .380 ACP, specifically designed for the Ruger LCP series of pocket pistols. Each magazine features a single-stack, blued steel body construction with a capacity of seven rounds. Four of the magazines are equipped with standard flush-fitting black polymer floor plates, while the fifth magazine is fitted with a contoured polymer finger grip extension for improved handling. The magazines are designed with six witness holes on both sides, numbered 2 through 7 for round identification. Prominent markings include the Ruger bird logo and the text RUGER on the baseplates. The sides of the magazine bodies are stamped with the caliber designation .380 and MADE IN USA, alongside the circular Ruger bird logo near the base.
Condition report:
The magazines are in good used condition, displaying minor finish thinning and light surface scratches consistent with regular use. The blued finish remains largely intact across all five items. The polymer floor plates and the finger extension show light scuffing but remain structurally sound without cracks. Followers move freely under spring tension and the feed lips appear to be in good alignment, though the magazines have not been function-tested in a firearm.
