Description
This commemorative set from Winchester is a 2007 Limited Edition release featuring two folding pocket knives and a matching medallion. The set includes a three-blade stockman-pattern knife and a two-blade trapper-pattern knife. Both knives are designed with natural horn handle scales, brass pins, and polished bolsters. The main blades on both knives are etched with the Winchester brand name. Accompanying the knives is a circular, pewter-finish metal medallion featuring the Winchester horse and rider logo. The components are housed in a fitted, red-flocked insert within a rectangular metal collector tin. The tin lid features a reproduction of the Frederic Remington painting Taking Aim, which depicts two mountain hunters, alongside the Winchester banner and 2007 Limited Edition text.
Condition report:
The knives and medallion are in excellent, unused condition. The blades retain their factory finish with no evidence of sharpening or use. The horn scales are free of cracks or chips. The metal tin shows minor signs of shelf wear and light surface scratches. The interior flocked insert remains clean and intact.
