Description
This Beretta Model 950 BS Minx is a compact semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in .22 Short, featuring the manufacturer’s signature tip-up barrel design which allows for easy loading and unloading without the need to cycle the slide. The firearm is constructed with a blued steel slide and barrel assembly mounted on a black anodized lightweight alloy frame. It is equipped with fixed blade front and notch rear sights and features a single-action trigger mechanism with a manual thumb safety. The pistol is fitted with black checkered polymer grips that display the Beretta trident logo and are specifically marked with the caliber and model name. Key markings include BERETTA-Mod. 950 BS-.22 Short on the left side of the slide and MADE BERETTA USA CORP., ACKK, MD. on the right side of the slide. The left side of the frame above the trigger guard is stamped with the serial number BER 41955 T. The grips are marked 22 SHORT and MINX. One single-stack magazine is included, which is marked P.B. CAL. 22 SHORT MADE IN ITALY. The action appears to function correctly, though it has not been live-fire tested. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good overall condition. The blued finish on the slide shows light wear at the high points and minor surface oxidation within the rear cocking serrations. The barrel has developed an attractive plum-colored patina, most visible at the muzzle. The anodized finish on the alloy frame remains mostly intact with only minor handling marks. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The checkered polymer grips are excellent with no significant wear or damage. The magazine shows some light finish thinning and minor surface corrosion on the body.
