Description
This Browning B.B.R. bolt-action rifle is chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum and features a 24-inch blued steel barrel. The rifle is stocked in high-gloss walnut with a Monte Carlo profile, featuring a cheekpiece, skip-line checkering on the wrist and forend, and a dark forend tip. Mounted to the receiver via Burris rings and bases is a Nikon 4-12×40 scope with a duplex reticle. Key markings include BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. over MADE IN JAPAN on the left side of the barrel, and B.B.R. CALIBER 7MM REM MAG ONLY on the right side. The receiver is stamped with the serial number 10071PW117. The rifle is equipped with a black rubber recoil pad marked with the Browning logo and a padded leather sling with an embossed buck mark logo. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The original blued finish is mostly well-preserved, though there are scattered areas of light surface oxidation and minor spotting on the barrel, receiver, and scope mounts. The walnut stock shows signs of field use with numerous light scratches, dings, and impressions throughout the high-gloss finish, but remains structurally sound. The skip-line checkering remains sharp and defined. The action appears to function smoothly and correctly, although it has not been live-fire tested. The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling. The optics on the Nikon scope are clear and functional.
