Description
This lot consists of four factory semi-automatic pistol magazines manufactured by Smith & Wesson, specifically designed for the SW40VE and Sigma series pistols chambered in .40 S&W. Each magazine is constructed with a polished stainless steel body and a black polymer base plate, configured for a 14-round capacity. The magazines feature numbered witness holes on the sides at the 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14-round marks, with additional holes on the rear at the 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13-round marks. Two of the units are fitted with orange plastic followers and ribbed base plates, while the remaining two feature black plastic followers and smooth-edged base plates. Key markings include the Smith & Wesson circular logo with stylized S and W on the side of each magazine body and the text Smith & Wesson embossed above the same logo on the base plates. Some magazines bear handwritten blue ink markings on the rear reading SW 40 VE.
Condition report:
The magazines are in good used condition. The polished stainless steel bodies exhibit some minor surface scuffing and light scratches consistent with normal use. The polymer base plates are intact with no cracks or significant chips. Followers and internal springs appear to be in good functional condition with positive tension, though the magazines have not been live-fire tested. Small blue ink markings are present on the rear of several magazine bodies.
