Description
This lot contains five magazines for the AR-15 rifle platform chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO or .223 Remington. The group features one new-in-packaging Duramag Speed aluminum 30-round magazine with a pink anodized finish, labeled AR15 .223/5.56 30 ROUND ALUMINUM and MADE IN THE USA. Additionally, the lot includes four used aluminum magazines manufactured by Colt. Two of these are 30-round capacity magazines with a grey Parkerized finish and floorplates stamped with the rampant colt logo and CAL. 5.56 MM, COLT’S MFG. CO. INC., HARTFORD, CONN., U.S.A. The remaining two magazines are 20-round capacity units fitted with extended black polymer base plates marked COLT’S MFG. CO. INC., HARTFORD, CONN., U.S.A. These accessories are designed for standard AR-15/M16 pattern lower receivers and exhibit the classic ribbed aluminum construction associated with military-style surplus.
Condition report:
The pink Duramag magazine is in excellent, new condition within its original retail packaging. The four loose Colt magazines are in fair to good condition, exhibiting significant finish wear and silvering to the bodies consistent with field use and carry. The stamped floorplates remain legible with moderate surface wear. Springs and followers appear functional and maintain tension, though they have not been function-tested with live ammunition.
