Description
This lot consists of 120 rounds of PMC centerfire rifle ammunition chambered in .222 Remington. The cartridges are loaded with 50-grain Pointed Soft Point projectiles, commonly utilized for small game hunting and precision target shooting. The ammunition is distributed across six original cardboard boxes, each designed to hold 20 rounds. Verbatim markings on the packaging include the PMC logo, the text PRECISION MADE CARTRIDGES, and 20 CENTERFIRE RIFLE CARTRIDGES. The box ends are specifically labeled 222 B, 222 REM, and 50 Gr. PSP. Cartridge headstamps are clearly struck with P M C and 222 REM. Each box contains a black plastic internal tray to secure the cartridges.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in excellent, live condition. The brass cases are clean and bright, exhibiting only minor surface tarnish and no signs of significant corrosion or verdigris. The Pointed Soft Point projectiles are properly seated, and the exposed lead tips show no significant deformation. The original red and white cardboard boxes show typical minor shelf wear, including light scuffing at the edges and some softening at the corners, but they remain complete and provide secure containment for the cartridges.
