Description
This Browning A500 is a semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 12 gauge, designed for versatile sporting and hunting applications. It features a 30-inch blued steel barrel equipped with a ventilated rib and a single brass bead front sight. Left side barrel markings state SPECIAL STEEL 12 GA. SHELLS 2 3/4″ AND 3″ INVECTOR and PATENTS PENDING, while the right side is marked BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. and MADE IN BELGIUM – ASSEMBLED IN PORTUGAL. The receiver is decorated with engraved scrollwork on both sides, with the right side further marked A500 BROWNING. The serial number 751PN 11282 is located on the lower right side of the receiver. The shotgun is fitted with a checkered wood stock and forend featuring a gloss finish and a gold-toned trigger. The stock terminates in a black rubber recoil pad marked BROWNING. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued steel finish on the barrel and receiver exhibits widespread surface speckling and areas of light oxidation consistent with significant use. The bore shows signs of firing and would benefit from cleaning. The checkered wood stock and forend have numerous scratches and dings, with a prominent crack visible in the wrist of the stock at the receiver junction. The action appears to function correctly, although we have not function-tested this firearm.
