Description
This lot consists of a total of 77 cartridges in three assorted boxes, chambered for .44 Magnum and .44 Special, and includes 6 empty brass casings. The primary group contains 51 cartridges of .44 Rem Mag with W-W SUPER 44 REM MAG headstamps, housed in a white box marked 44 MAGNUM 240 GR. F.M.S.P. +P+ HUNTING LOAD 50 CARTRIDGES. A green and yellow Remington High Velocity box, originally intended for 25 cartridges, contains 17 rounds of .44 Rem Mag with R-P 44 REM MAG headstamps, identified by the box markings Remington 44 REM MAG 240 GRAIN SEMI-JKTD. HOLLOW PT. and product code R44MG3. The third box is a black Speer Gold Dot Personal Protection container for 20 HIGH-PERFORMANCE CARTRIDGES, holding 9 .44 S&W Special cartridges with nickel-plated cases and SPEER 44 SPL headstamps; the box is labeled 44 S&W SPL 200 gr. GDHP with the number 23980. The assortment includes various projectile types such as semi-jacketed hollow points and Gold Dot hollow points intended for hunting and personal protection.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in generally good condition, with most rounds appearing live and exhibiting minor surface tarnish on the brass and nickel plating. The 6 empty brass casings show some discoloration from firing. Primers are seated and appear intact, with red sealant visible on the Winchester and Remington loads. The original factory packaging shows moderate to heavy shelf wear, including scuffing, edge fraying, and adhesive price sticker residue on the Remington box. The internal plastic and cardboard trays are present and in stable condition.
