Description
This Norinco MAK-90 Sporter is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm. It is built on a stamped steel receiver and features a 16 inch barrel equipped with a slotted muzzle brake. The barrel is fitted with a hooded post front sight and an adjustable tangent rear sight. The metal components exhibit a blued finish throughout. The rifle is configured with black polymer furniture, including a vented handguard and a textured pistol grip. In place of a traditional buttstock, the rear of the receiver is fitted with an adapter plate and a side-mounted sling swivel. Key markings on the left side of the receiver include MAK-90 SPORTER, CAL 7.62X39MM, the Norinco star logo, and the importer markings C.J.A SFLD MI over MADE IN CHINA. The full serial number 9491481 is present on the receiver, and a matching partial serial 91481 is visible on the polished bolt carrier. This lot includes a curved metal magazine and a black canvas webbing sling. Please note this firearm is missing its original buttstock. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish on the receiver and barrel shows moderate wear, with some thinning on the sharp edges and light surface scratches consistent with regular handling. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The black polymer furniture is in good condition with only minor surface scuffs. The magazine shows some external finish wear but remains structurally sound.
