Description
This lot features two modern fixed-blade knives with pattern-welded Damascus steel blades showing distinct wavy layered grain patterns. The first knife is a drop-point skinner with a stacked handle assembly comprising dark hardwood, red and blue spacers, and a central polished bone or horn section, completed with a metal crossguard and flat pommel cap. It is accompanied by a black leather sheath with white contrast stitching and embossed triskele motifs. The second knife is a full-tang trailing point or upswept skinner. The handle is fitted with two-tone scales of dark figured wood and cream-colored bone or horn, secured by two pins and a central decorative mosaic pin. It includes a tan leather sheath with a decorative stamped border along the stitched edge. No maker’s marks or tang stamps are visible on either knife.
Blade lengths: approximately 3.5 inches and 4 inches.
Condition report:
Both knives and sheaths are in excellent, near-mint condition and appear unused. The blades retain their original edges with no signs of sharpening wear, metal loss, or corrosion. Handle materials are secure and free of cracks or chips. Leather sheaths are clean with intact stitching and functioning hardware.
