Description
This Winchester Model 70 is a bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .300 Winchester Short Magnum (WSM), configured for long-range hunting and precision. The firearm features a stainless steel barrel approximately 24 inches in length, equipped with a prominent multi-port muzzle brake to mitigate recoil. The stainless steel receiver is set into a durable black synthetic stock with textured checkering on the forend and pistol grip. Visible markings on the left side of the barrel include WINCHESTER® MODEL 70 .300 WSM — MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CT U.S.A. —, while the left side of the receiver bears the WINCHESTER — TRADE MARK — engraving. The right side of the receiver displays the serial number G375208. Mounted to the receiver is an Intensity 3-10x44mm scope featuring a duplex reticle, which is marked with model number M#94615 and manufactured in the Philippines. Additional features include a hinged floorplate, sling swivel studs, and a Winchester-branded rubber recoil pad. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel finish on the barrel and receiver is in good condition, showing a clean appearance with very few signs of handling. The black synthetic stock exhibits some minor scuffs and light scratches, primarily on the buttstock, consistent with typical field use. The action appears to function correctly when cycled, although we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not internally inspected, but the external condition suggests the rifle has been well-maintained. The scope optics appear clear and the duplex reticle is intact. The rubber recoil pad shows some light surface oxidation/residue but remains pliable and well-attached.
