Lot 350:
Lee Precision 3-Die Set Reloading Dies .45 ACP
Sold for: $20
Description
This set of three Lee Precision reloading dies is chambered for .45 ACP ammunition and includes a full-length sizing die, a powder-through expanding die, and a bullet seating die. The individual dies are constructed from steel and feature aluminum hex-head lock rings and knurled adjustment knobs for fine-tuning the reloading process. Verbatim markings stamped into the side of each die body read LEE – .45ACP. The set is stored in its original round red plastic container with a clear lid and includes a single yellow plastic powder dipper. The steel components of the dies exhibit a dark aged patina with visible surface oxidation and light rust consistent with previous use and storage. The aluminum adjustment knobs and lock rings show minor handling wear but remain fully functional. This set is designed for use in standard 7/8-14 thread reloading presses to resize, expand, and seat bullets for the .45 ACP cartridge.
Condition report:
The reloading dies are in used condition with a dark patina and significant surface oxidation across the exterior steel bodies. The aluminum lock rings and knurled adjustment knobs show minor scratches but operate smoothly. The interior of the dies shows signs of use and carbon residue but appears free of major pitting. The red plastic storage case is intact with a handwritten paper label on the exterior of the lid.
