Description

This lot consists of 700 rounds of .22 Long Rifle rimfire ammunition from various manufacturers, housed in twelve original boxes of varying vintages. The collection includes a diverse array of loads: one 50-count box of Remington Hi-Speed, one 50-count box of Winchester Wildcat High Velocity, one 50-count box of Federal Hi-Power Maximum Velocity, one 50-count box of Blazer High Velocity, one 50-count box of Winchester Super-X High Velocity, four 50-count boxes of Sears Ted Williams Xtra-Range, two 50-count boxes of Remington Target, and one larger box of Federal Lightning containing the balance of the rounds. The cartridges feature brass casings and lead round-nose bullets. Verbatim markings on the packaging include Remington Hi-Speed 50 Rim Fire Cartridges, Winchester Wildcat High Velocity, Federal Hi-Power Maximum Velocity, Blazer 22 Long Rifle, Winchester Super-X 22 Long Rifle, Sears Ted Williams 22 Long Rifle Xtra-Range, Remington 22 Target, and Federal Lightning .22. Visual inspection of the cartridge headstamps reveals the incised letter S on the Sears-branded rounds and the script letters Rem on the Remington cartridges.

Condition report:

The cardboard packaging exhibits varying degrees of shelf wear, including minor edge fraying, some clear adhesive tape reinforcements, and original retail price stickers. The cartridges generally appear in good condition; the brass casings show minimal tarnishing, while the lead round-nose bullets exhibit light surface oxidation consistent with age. All ammunition appears to be live and intact, though it has not been function-tested.
