Lot 380:
RCBS Three-Die Reloading Set .32 S&W Long with No. 23 Shell Holder
Sold for: $35
Description
This lot features an RCBS three-piece reloading die set chambered for the .32 S&W Long cartridge, housed in its original green plastic manufacturer case. The set consists of a decapping and sizing die, an expander die, and a seating die, all constructed from steel with knurled adjustment rings and locking collars. Included within the case is a secondary smaller green box containing an RCBS No. 23 shell holder. Key markings on the primary case include the RCBS logo and the text PRECISIONEERED Reloading Dies positioned above the OMARK INDUSTRIES Sporting Equipment Division logo. The specific caliber designation 32 S+W L is handwritten in black marker on the side panel of the case. The shell holder box is labeled RCBS SHELL HOLDER 09223 No. 23 and specifies the manufacturer location as RCBS Oroville, California 95965. The presence of the Omark Industries logo indicates production between 1976 and 1985.
Condition report:
The dies and shell holder are in good functional condition. The steel components exhibit minor surface oxidation and light staining, particularly on the knurled adjustment rings and threaded sections, though this does not appear to affect mechanical utility. The interior surfaces of the dies appear smooth and free of significant pitting. The green plastic storage cases show light exterior scuffing and soil consistent with age and previous shop use. All adjustment stems and pins appear to be intact and mobile.
