Description

This lot consists of 98 cartridges of .223 Remington centerfire ammunition produced by Black Hills Ammunition. Each round is configured with a brass casing and a copper-jacketed soft-point bullet. The ammunition is presented in two original blue cardboard boxes, each originally designed to hold 50 rounds. Verbatim markings on the boxes include Black Hills Ammunition, The Power of Performance, 50 Centerfire Cartridges, .223 Remington, and a prominent warning reading WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. The individual cartridges feature headstamps marked BHA 08, identifying the manufacturer. One box contains a black plastic divider tray, while the other utilizes a white foam insert. One of the box tops has a handwritten numeric notation of 17 99 in black ink. The packaging exhibits common shelf wear including edge rubbing and minor corner tears. Small American flags on the boxes are accompanied by the words OWNED, MADE, and PARTS.

Condition report:

The ammunition appears to be in good overall condition. The brass casings show minor instances of surface patina or tarnish, but no significant corrosion is present. The copper-jacketed soft-point bullets are intact and appear well-maintained. The original cardboard packaging shows moderate shelf wear with some scuffing and small tears at the stress points. The ammunition is considered live.
