Sold for: $85
Description
This lot features 144 rounds of remanufactured .243 Winchester centerfire rifle ammunition, professionally presented in three blue translucent plastic storage cases. The ammunition is divided into three distinct projectile configurations based on the handwritten loading data provided on each case lid. One group consists of rounds loaded with open-tip hollow point (HP) projectiles, specifically identified as 243 Win 75 gr HP. A second group features purple polymer ballistic-tipped projectiles, noted on the lid as 243 Winchester 65 gr V-MAX PURPLE TIPS. The final group contains rounds with blue-sealed primers or blue tips, with handwritten notes specifying a load of 37 GR IMR 4064. Visible headstamps across the lot include HORNADY 243 WIN and WINCHESTER 243 WIN. The rounds are categorized as remanufactured, utilizing high-quality previously fired brass and modern components tailored for specific ballistic performance. The overall presentation is clean and well-organized, suitable for target shooting or varmint hunting applications.
Condition report:
The ammunition and storage cases are in excellent overall condition. The brass cases are clean and bright, showing no evidence of corrosion, tarnishing, or structural defects. All projectiles are securely and uniformly seated. The ammunition appears to be live and ready for use. The blue plastic cases are structurally sound and function correctly, though the lids show typical signs of use including adhesive residue and handwritten notations.
