Description
This brand new Rossi Matched Set is a versatile break-open, single-shot interchangeable firearm system featuring one receiver and a three barrel set chambered in .22 LR, .243 Win, and 20 Gauge. The configuration includes a 22-inch 20 gauge shotgun barrel with a 3-inch chamber and a modified choke, a 22-inch .243 Win rifle barrel, and an 18.5-inch .22 LR rifle barrel. Technical specifications include a polished blued finish on the receiver and all three barrels; both rifle barrels are equipped with adjustable green and red fiber optic sights, while the .243 Win barrel features an integral scope mounting rail. The firearm is fitted with durable black synthetic furniture, featuring a Monte Carlo-style buttstock with a raised cheek riser, a checkered forend, and a Rossi-branded rubber recoil pad. Extensive markings include the model designation MOD.S2022243 and serial number SR351026 on the underside of the receiver, while the left side is marked MADE IN BRAZIL BY TAURUS and BRAZTECH, L.C. MIAMI, FL. Specific barrel markings include ROSSI .22 L.R., ROSSI .243 WIN, and ROSSI 20 GA. 3 INCH MOD. The lot is complete with its original factory Matched Set box, a Rossi-branded black padded soft carry case, and the owner’s manual. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The overall condition is brand new and excellent, showing no signs of field use and only negligible handling marks to the factory bluing and synthetic furniture consistent with box storage. The bores of all three barrels are bright and clean with sharp rifling in the rifle barrels. The break-open action appears to function correctly with a tight lockup. The factory box and soft case are in very good condition with only minor shelf wear.
