Description
This Rock River Arms LAR-15 is a semi-automatic target rifle chambered in 5.56mm. It is equipped with a 20-inch polished stainless steel heavy bull barrel and a round, black knurled aluminum free-float handguard featuring two sling swivel studs and a railed gas block. The rifle is constructed with black finished aluminum flattop upper and lower receivers, fitted with a fixed A2-style black polymer weighted stock that includes a trapdoor buttplate and a storage compartment. For enhanced handling, it features an ergonomic black polymer finger-groove pistol grip. A Tasco variable-power scope with a fine crosshair reticle is mounted to the receiver with Weaver 1-inch USA rings. Prominent markings on the left side of the lower receiver include the Rock River Arms logo and read ROCK RIVER ARMS / COLONA, IL / CAL. 5.56 MM / LAR-15 and the serial number CM 28471. This firearm is offered with no magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition, showing signs of light use and standard handling. The black anodized finish on the receivers and handguard remains largely intact with minor surface scratches and faint edge wear consistent with careful use. The polished stainless steel barrel is bright with only minor superficial marks. While the bore has not been internally inspected, the muzzle crown appears clean and undamaged. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually. The polymer stock and grip are well-preserved with clean textures and minimal wear. The mounted optic features clear glass and a crisp, intact reticle.
