Lot 469:
A Lot of 73 Federal Game Load 12 Gauge Shotgun Shells
Sold for: $20
Description
A lot of 73 Federal brand Game Load 12-gauge shotgun shells contained within three original cardboard boxes. The collection consists of one box of 12-gauge, 3-1/4 dram equivalent shells with 1 ounce of shot and two boxes of 12-gauge, 3 dram equivalent shells with 1 ounce of #8 shot. The shells are constructed with red ribbed plastic hulls and brass-toned metal heads, featuring printed markings that read Federal Game Load 8 alongside a bird silhouette. Box markings identify the contents as Federal Game Load 12 Gauge 25 Shot Shells and include technical specifications such as F121 3-1/4 Dram Equiv. 1 Oz. and F121 3 Dram Equiv. 1 Oz. 8 Shot. The packaging also bears standard safety warnings and retail labels from previous sales.
Condition report:
The red plastic hulls are in good condition with minor scuffs and surface dust. The metal heads show varying degrees of surface oxidation and tarnish. The cardboard boxes exhibit heavy shelf wear, including edge fraying, corner crushing, surface abrasions, and some tearing to the flaps. Several vintage retail price stickers and adhesive residues are present on the box tops. We have not function-tested this ammunition.
