Description
This lot consists of a collection of 4 boxes of reloading bullets for .38 caliber and .357 diameter cartridges, comprising approximately 339 pieces with a total weight of 6.4 pounds. The group features two boxes of Hornady .38 Cal .357 125 gr HP/XTP bullets, SKU number 35710, in their signature red and white packaging. Also included is one box of Sierra 8340 .38 Cal .357 Dia 158 gr JSP bullets and one box of Sierra .38 Caliber Jacketed Hollow Cavity 110 gr bullets, which are identified on the packaging as Sierra Rifle Bullets. Verbatim markings on the boxes include Hornady 38 CAL .357 125 GR HP/XTP Qty: 100 #35710, 8340 38 CAL .357 DIA 158 GR JSP, and 100 Sierra Rifle Bullets .38 CALIBER Jacketed Hollow Cavity 110 gr. One of the light green Sierra boxes retains a blank reloading data card. All boxes have been previously opened and while they appear mostly full, the precise individual bullet count is an estimate.
Condition report:
The bullets are in good condition, showing no significant oxidation or corrosion on either the copper jacketing or the lead components. The outer cardboard boxes show shelf wear consistent with age, including creasing, dings, and some tape residue. The Hornady boxes are relatively intact, while the Sierra boxes show more pronounced edge wear and some label surface loss on one top flap.
