Description
This lot consists of a pair of polymer ammunition storage cans in olive drab green manufactured by Plano Molding Co. Each unit is constructed from textured plastic and features a top-folding black carry handle, a brass-plated metal latch, and an internal rubber gasket designed to provide a water-resistant seal. The interior floor of both units is molded with the identifying text MODEL 1312, PLANO MOLDING CO., PLANO, IL., MADE IN U.S.A., and www.planomolding.com. One can retains an original manufacturer identification label for Blazer Brass Ammunition specifying 9mm Full Metal Jacket, 115 Grain FMJ, 350 Rounds, and product code 52002. This unit also carries shipping and inventory labels indicating CCI/Speer Operations of Lewiston, ID and Pacific Flyway Wholesale of West Jordan, UT. The second container features a Cabela’s logo in yellow script on the side. Both containers are intended for the dry storage of ammunition or field gear and are presented in empty condition.
Condition report:
Both containers are in good used condition with light surface scuffing and some adhesive residue from previous labels on the exterior polymer. The brass-plated metal latches are functional and provide a secure closure. The rubber gaskets are intact and appear pliable. The internal surfaces are clean and free of rust or significant debris.
