Description

This lot consists of six factory magazines designed for Ruger P-Series semi-automatic pistols, including three 9mm magazines and three .40 S&W magazines. The three 9mm magazines feature a stainless steel finish and are equipped with oversized black polymer base plates and finger extensions. These magazines bear prominent yellow and orange warning labels on the rear spine that read WARNING – UNLOADING / Removing magazine does not unload the gun or prevent it from firing! To unload, first remove magazine, then pull slide and eject cartridge from chamber. SEE INSTRUCTION MANUAL / GUN WILL FIRE WITH MAGAZINE OUT. Stamped markings near the base of these magazines specify 9MM, and they feature three witness holes on the side wall. The other three magazines are chambered for .40 S&W and feature a blued steel finish with standard flush-fitting steel base plates. These are stamped with 40 CAL on the upper side wall and feature four witness holes. One of the blued magazines includes a law enforcement restriction marking on the rear spine that reads RESTRICTED LAW ENFORCEMENT / GOVERNMENT USE ONLY. All six magazines utilize steel bodies and followers.

Condition report:

The three stainless steel magazines are in good condition, showing light handling wear and minor surface scratches, with the warning labels remaining bright and legible. The three blued steel magazines exhibit moderate to heavy finish wear, including significant thinning of the bluing, scattered surface oxidation, and areas of light pitting. The followers move freely under spring tension on all units, though they have not been function tested in a firearm.
