Description

The High Standard Model DM-101 is a compact over-under double-barrel derringer chambered for the .22 Magnum cartridge. This firearm features a 3.5-inch barrel assembly with a break-open action and an integral extractor system. The metal surfaces display a blued finish, paired with cream-colored synthetic bird’s head grips. It is designed with a double-action mechanism and a shrouded trigger to provide a snag-free profile. Key markings include DERRINGER on the left side of the barrel and .22 MAGNUM CAL. MODEL DM-101 on the left side of the frame. The right side of the barrel is stamped HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. — HAMDEN, CONN. U.S.A. — while the serial number 2313263 is clearly visible on the right side of the frame behind the barrel pivot. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The firearm is in good overall condition, retaining much of its original blued finish with typical thinning and silvering on the high edges, trigger face, and barrel release lever. The bores are bright with crisp rifling and no signs of pitting. The action appears to function correctly with a secure lock-up and positive extraction. The synthetic grips are well-preserved with minor handling marks but are free of cracks or significant chips.
