Description
This lot features a SIG Sauer model P245 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 Auto. The firearm is a compact, recoil-operated handgun utilizing a double-action/single-action trigger mechanism with a frame-mounted decocking lever. It presents a two-tone finish consisting of a silver-tone slide and controls over a black frame. The pistol is equipped with aftermarket Hogue black rubber wrap-around grips featuring finger grooves and a pebbled texture. The sighting system consists of fixed three-dot sights with high-visibility green and yellow highlights. Transcription of the markings reveals SIG SAUER and SIGARMS INC. EXETER-NH on the left side of the slide, and P245 on the right. The barrel is marked .45 Auto. The right side of the frame is marked MADE IN GERMANY with the serial number C 006410 and various German proof marks. One stainless steel single-stack magazine marked MADE IN ITALY is included with this lot. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in good condition, showing signs of light use consistent with carry and mechanical operation. The silver-tone slide finish shows some minor surface scuffing and wear on the barrel hood. The black frame finish remains largely intact with minimal wear. The Hogue grips are in good condition with no tears or significant degradation. While the bore was not examined, the action appears to function correctly through manual cycling; however, we have not function-tested this firearm. The magazine shows light surface wear from insertion.
