Description
This Mossberg 590 Mariner is a pump action shotgun chambered for 12 gauge shells, configured for high durability and corrosion resistance. It features a 20.5 inch barrel with a cylinder bore and a full length extended magazine tube, topped with a gold bead front sight. The receiver, barrel, and magazine tube are finished in a matte silver coating characteristic of the Mariner series. The firearm is modified with a black polymer Blackhawk! adjustable telescoping stock featuring a honeycomb textured recoil pad and an integrated pistol grip. Additional features include a ribbed black polymer pump forend and a six shell side saddle carrier mounted to the left side of the receiver. Key markings on the left side of the receiver include Mossberg, MADE IN U.S.A., NORTH HAVEN, CONN., 590, and 12 GA., with the serial number U452458 stamped below. Barrel markings specify CHAMBERED FOR 2 3/4 AND 3 IN. SHELLS and 12 GA.— 20 IN. CYLINDER BORE. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in overall good condition, displaying minor surface scuffs and handling marks consistent with light field use. The matte silver finish shows some very slight thinning at high wear points but remains mostly complete. The bore is bright and appears free of pitting or obstruction. The action appears to function smoothly, though we have not function tested this firearm. The Blackhawk! stock and polymer furniture are in good condition with no cracks or significant damage.
