Description
This lot comprises a total of 4000 individual ammunition reloading primers from manufacturers RWS and Fiocchi. The collection includes 2500 RWS Sinoxid anvil-type primers designed for large rifle cartridges, specifically designated as caliber .210 or 5.33 mm. These were produced by Dynamit-Nobel in Nürnberg and are labeled as Made in Western Germany. Verbatim markings on the primary yellow and gray RWS packaging include 2500 AMBOSS-ZÜNDHÜTCHEN CAL. 5,33 mm FÜR GROSSKALIBRIGE BÜCHSENPATRONEN and ANVIL PRIMERS CAL. .210 FOR LARGE RIFLE CARTRIDGES. Inner RWS sleeves are marked for 250 units and carry the designation 2845 Los 2/61. The second portion of the lot consists of 1500 Fiocchi small pistol primers utilizing a standard primer mixture, manufactured in Italy. The Fiocchi packaging is prominently marked SMALL PISTOL PRIMERS Standard Primer Mixture, FIOCCHI COMPONENT LINE, and DESIGNED FOR Pistol & Revolver. All primers are organized within plastic grid trays for convenient storage and handling.
Condition report:
The exterior packaging for both primer sets exhibits moderate shelf wear, including surface scuffing, edge compression, and minor tearing at the flaps. The yellow and gray RWS boxes show light age-related color fading. The primers themselves appear to be in good, unused condition with clean metal surfaces and no significant signs of corrosion or moisture exposure. The internal plastic trays are intact and properly hold the primers in a grid arrangement.
