Lot 76:
A Lot of 100 Rounds Remington Core-Lokt .300 Savage Centerfire Rifle Ammunition
Sold for: $200
Description
This lot consists of five boxes of Remington Core-Lokt centerfire rifle ammunition chambered in .300 Savage, totaling 100 rounds. Each box contains 20 cartridges loaded with 150-grain Pointed Soft Point (PSP) bullets designed for controlled expansion and effective weight retention. The ammunition is housed in original green and yellow cardboard packaging with plastic internal carriers. The box labels are marked with 300 SAV, 300 SAVAGE, and 150 GR. CORE-LOKT PSP. Verbatim headstamp markings on the brass cases include R-P 300 SAV, identifying the manufacturer as Remington-Peters and confirming the .300 Savage caliber.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear, including frayed edges, minor tears, and surface staining. The ammunition cartridges appear to be in good overall condition, though the brass cases show light surface oxidation and tarnish consistent with age and storage. The primers and bullets appear undisturbed, and the ammunition is factory-loaded and live.
