Description
This lot features a Rock Island Armory M1911 A2 FS Tactical Ultra High Cap semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm. This full-sized firearm is equipped with a 5-inch barrel and a full-length accessory rail integrated into the frame dust cover. The pistol is finished in a matte black and features a skeletonized hammer and trigger along with an extended beavertail grip safety and an ambidextrous manual safety. The grips are constructed from a black textured composite material designed for a secure hold. Sighting is handled by a fiber optic front sight and an adjustable rear target sight. Key markings include the caliber designation CAL. 9MM on the barrel hood, the Rock Island Armory logo on the right rear of the slide, and the model designation M1911 A2 FS – TACT. on the right side of the frame above the trigger. The frame is also marked with the serial number RIA2852203. Import and manufacturing marks on the underside of the dust cover read APINTL-PAHRUMP NV and ACP PHILIPPINES. This lot includes one double-stack magazine, the original factory box, a black soft carrying case, a user manual, an orange chamber flag, a safety tag, and a matching inspection card. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good overall condition, retaining the majority of its matte black finish. There are visible surface scuffs and minor wear marks on the right side of the slide near the muzzle. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The textured grips are well-preserved with no significant chips or cracks. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. Included accessories show minimal wear.
