Matching partial serial numbers 536 are visible on the bolt shroud, safety, cocking piece, magazine floorplate, and both barrel bands. The buttstock is fitted with a circular brass identification disk transcribed as S 1 over № 1360 and a rectangular metal range plate titled Ⓑ m/96 providing ballistic data. This rifle includes an attached leather sling and a cleaning rod stored under the barrel. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in very good overall condition, retaining a high percentage of its original blued finish with only minor thinning at the muzzle and edges of the trigger guard. The polished bolt is clean with minimal surface oxidation. The wood stock shows minor handling marks, light dings, and small scratches consistent with age and service but remains structurally sound. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The brass disk and range plate remain clear and legible. The leather sling is supple with minor surface cracking.
