Lot 371:
A Collection of 30 Swedish Mauser M96 Stripper Clips
Sold for: $50
Description
A collection of 30 steel stripper (charger) clips, identified as those for the Swedish Mauser M96 and M38 rifles. The clips are of two-piece steel construction with an internal flat leaf spring designed to secure five cartridges, typically 6.5x55mm Mauser. Various stamped markings are visible on the rear surfaces of the clips, including the numeric code 070 and individual letters such as H, A, and K. These markings are consistent with Swedish military arsenal and contractor identification codes. These accessories are designed for use with rifles equipped with charger guides, specifically Swedish Mauser variants and other compatible Mauser-pattern actions.
Condition report:
The clips are in good military surplus condition. They exhibit minor finish wear and light surface oxidation consistent with age and storage. The internal leaf springs appear to be intact and functional.
