Description
One brown leather holster specifically configured for the Mauser C96 Bolo variant. The holster is constructed from tanned leather with heavy off-white contrast stitching throughout. The design features a flared barrel section and two integrated rectangular pouches on the front face intended for Mauser 10-round stripper clips. A single large leather flap covers the grip area and the pouches, secured by two chrome-finished snap fasteners. The reverse side features a reinforced leather backing plate that forms a wide belt loop. Two metal D-rings are stitched into this plate, holding a removable and adjustable leather shoulder strap. The strap is secured with metal snaps and includes a small metal buckle for length adjustment. A literal transcription of the mark stamped into the center of the leather backing plate reads BoLo. This stamp refers to the collector nickname for the short-barreled C96 variant and identifies the item as a contemporary production for the collector or reenactor market.
Condition report:
The holster is in excellent, like-new condition. The leather is supple with a uniform color and minimal surface scuffing from handling. All metal hardware, including the snaps and D-rings, is clean and fully functional. The contrast stitching is tight, complete, and shows no signs of fraying or wear.
