Description
This is a high-grade bolt-action sporting rifle manufactured in Japan by Nikko, chambered in the powerful .300 Winchester Magnum caliber. The rifle features a polished blued barrel equipped with an integrated multi-ported muzzle brake to manage recoil. The gloss-finished receiver is ornamented with decorative floral scroll engraving on both the front and rear bridges and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Key markings include the model designation Golden Eagle in gold-colored script on the left side of the receiver and the serial number N025763. The right side of the receiver is marked US PAT. 4005540 / MADE IN JAPAN / BY NIKKO. The barrel is stamped with the caliber designation 300 WM. The rifle is fitted with a jeweled bolt and a gold-plated trigger. The furniture consists of a highly figured, high-gloss walnut stock featuring a Monte Carlo comb, a prominent cheekpiece, and a checkered pistol grip. The stock is further accented by contrasting wood tips at the forend and pistol grip cap, both finished with white line spacers. The rifle is completed with a black Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle remains in excellent overall condition, retaining nearly all of its original high-gloss blued finish on the barrel and receiver. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The highly figured wood stock is excellent, showing only very minor handling marks consistent with careful storage and minimal use. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The jeweled finish on the bolt is well-preserved, and the recoil pad remains supple.
