Description
This lot consists of a 24 count of empty brass casings chambered for .250 Savage, presented in two vintage Remington Kleanbore Hi-Speed factory cardboard boxes. The components include various headstamps marked verbatim as REM-UMC 250 HP and REM-UMC 250 SAV. The original boxes identify the contents as 100 grain Soft Point Core-Lokt bullets under product code 7225 and 100 grain Pointed Soft Point Core-Lokt bullets under product code 7125. These two-piece green and red boxes feature the DuPont logo and Remington mid-century branding. The brass casings are provided for reloading purposes and are held within the original internal cardboard grid dividers.
Condition report:
The empty brass casings show varying degrees of tarnish and oxidation consistent with age, with many cases exhibiting carbon fouling from firing and indented primers. The vintage cardboard boxes demonstrate significant age-related wear, including scuffing, edge fraying, small tears, and minor surface loss, though the text and logos remain generally legible. The internal dividers show some structural fatigue but remain intact.
