Description
This Ruger Standard semi-automatic pistol is chambered in .22 Long Rifle and features the classic silhouette of the early Sturm Ruger rimfire line. It is equipped with a 6 inch tapered barrel and a blued steel finish on both the barrel and the cylindrical receiver. The furniture consists of black checkered polymer grip panels with inset silver Ruger eagle medallions. Aiming is accomplished via fixed sights, including a front blade and a rear notch. The pistol incorporates a left-side thumb safety and a bottom-mounted heel magazine release. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation on the left side of the receiver which reads RUGER .22 CAL. LONG RIFLE AUTOMATIC PISTOL. The right side of the receiver is marked STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. and displays the serial number 11-77876. Included with the pistol is one detachable single-stack magazine with a chrome-finished baseplate. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish is in good condition, showing some thinning and wear at the muzzle and on the high edges of the receiver. There is evidence of light scattered surface oxidation and minor pinprick pitting, most notably near the rear of the frame and on the magazine body. The checkered polymer grips are well-preserved with sharp texture and very few handling marks. The bore is not visible for inspection, but the breech area appears clean and the action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
