Description
This lot features a Smith & Wesson Model 19-7 double-action revolver chambered for .357 Magnum, originally marketed as the Combat Magnum. This example is configured with a 2.5-inch snub-nose barrel, a high-polish blued finish, and a case-hardened hammer and trigger. The firearm is equipped with a fixed ramp front sight and a micro-adjustable rear sight. The original factory stocks have been replaced with aftermarket black textured rubberized grips. Literal transcriptions of the markings include SMITH & WESSON on the left side of the barrel and S. & W. 357 MAGNUM on the right. The right side of the frame features the four-line manufacturer address: MADE IN U.S.A. / MARCAS REGISTRADAS / SMITH & WESSON / SPRINGFIELD, MASS. Inside the crane, the model designation MOD 19-7 is stamped above the serial number BRB2820, which is also visible on the underside of the grip frame. The yoke is marked with the number 027. This revolver is accompanied by a green canvas Cabela’s zippered soft case. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in good used condition, retaining a high percentage of its original polished blued finish. There is a visible cylinder turn line and minor handling marks consistent with careful use. The case-hardened finish on the hammer and trigger remains vibrant. The action appears to function correctly in single and double action with solid lockup. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The aftermarket rubberized grips are in good condition without significant wear. The included Cabela\'s soft case is functional with minor external soiling.
