Description
This is a Browning Challenger II semi-automatic target pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The firearm is configured with a 6.75-inch blued target barrel and a matching blued slide mounted on a matte black finished frame. It features an adjustable target rear sight and a fixed ramp front sight with a red high-visibility insert. The pistol is fitted with smooth hardwood grips featuring inset gold-toned Browning buckmark medallions and includes a gold-plated trigger. Included with the lot is one magazine and a Kolpin brand brown and tan soft zippered carrying case. Prominent markings on the left side of the slide include BROWNING ARMS COMPANY / MORGAN, UTAH U.S.A. & / MONTREAL, P. Q. CANADA. The right side of the slide is marked .22 LONG RIFLE / CHALLENGER II / MADE IN U.S.A. The serial number 655PY16422 is stamped on the front strap of the grip frame. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in very good condition overall. The blued finish on the slide and barrel remains strong with only minor surface thinning at the muzzle and light handling marks. The matte finish on the frame shows some faint scratches and minor wear on the high edges. The hardwood grips are in excellent condition with no visible cracks or significant dings. The bore is bright with crisp rifling and the action appears to function correctly, though it has not been live-fire tested. The Kolpin soft case shows only light external soiling and the magazine functions as intended.
