The firearm features a 24-inch blued steel barrel paired with a blued receiver and a bolt body finished with attractive engine-turned jeweling. The rifle is mounted in a high-gloss finished walnut stock of the Monte Carlo pattern, featuring a raised cheekpiece, skip-line checkering on the pistol grip and forend, and a black forend tip and grip cap separated by white line spacers. Optics include a Simmons Aetec 2.8-10x44mm variable power scope, Model 2100, manufactured in the Philippines, which features a duplex reticle and is secured in two-piece Leupold mounts. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation Remington Model 700 on the left side of the receiver alongside the serial number C6496522. Barrel markings specify the caliber as 7MM-08 REM and include proof marks such as REP within an oval, C, BK, and 30. The rifle is equipped with a black textured buttplate and includes a camouflage-patterned soft carry case and elastic-tethered lens covers. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal surfaces retain nearly all of their original blued finish with only minimal evidence of handling or use. The engine-turned finish on the bolt is crisp and bright. The walnut stock is in very good to excellent condition, maintaining its high-gloss luster with very few minor surface dings. The bore is not directly visible, but the overall preservation suggests a clean and bright condition. The bolt action appears to function smoothly and correctly, although we have not function-tested this firearm. The Simmons scope lenses appear clear and the duplex reticle is intact.
