Description
This Western-style drop-loop buscadero leather gun belt and holster rig is constructed from durable brown leather. The belt features a row of 25 integrated cartridge loops suited for centerfire revolver cartridges and is secured with a rectangular brass buckle. The interior of the belt is finished with a decorative white zigzag stitch pattern. The matching holster is attached through a dedicated slot in the belt and includes a thin leather retention strap with a small silver-tone buckle and a leather leg tie cord. Verbatim markings on the rear of the holster specify the manufacturer as SEARS over ROEBUCK AND CO. and the model number 10768. The holster dimensions are appropriate for a large-frame revolver.
Condition report:
The rig is in moderate condition with visible surface wear and scuffing to the leather finish. Darkening from use is present on the inner belt surface and the rear of the holster plate. The brass buckle shows a natural patina. Stitching remains tight and complete across all components. No significant dry rot or leather failure is observed.
