Lot 21:
Husqvarna Marquart Precision Bolt Action Rifle 7mm Express Remington
Sold for: $900
Description
This bolt-action sporting rifle is built on a Swedish action and features a custom barrel by Marquart Precision, chambered in 7mm Express Remington. The receiver is stamped FFV-HUSQVARNA, SWEDEN on the left side, along with the serial number 510052. The custom barrel displays a high-polish blued finish and is marked MARQUART PRECISION on the top and 7 MM EXP. REM. on the left breech. The firearm is equipped with a jeweled bolt body and a hinged floorplate featuring light scroll engraving on the cover. It is mounted in a well-figured wood stock with a high-gloss finish, a Monte Carlo cheekpiece, and checkering on the wrist and forend. Ornamental details include a rosewood forend tip and a matching grip cap, both accented with white spacers, and a black polymer buttplate embossed with the Husqvarna crown logo. Topping the receiver is a Leupold M8-6X fixed-power scope secured in Leupold rings on a one-piece base. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle remains in excellent overall condition. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver is deep and lustrous, showing very little wear. The custom wood stock retains nearly all of its high-gloss finish with only a few faint handling marks and minor storage dings. The checkering remains sharp. The bore is bright with strong rifling throughout. The bolt action and hinged floorplate appear to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The Leupold scope shows some surface scuffs and scratches on the exterior of the objective bell, but the optics are clear and the reticle is intact.
