Description
This is an Israel Military Industries (IMI) Desert Eagle semi-automatic pistol chambered in .41 Magnum and imported by Magnum Research Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pistol features a gas-operated action with a 6 inch barrel, fixed combat-style sights, a spurred hammer, and an ambidextrous thumb-mounted safety. The metal surfaces are finished in a matte black, and the frame is fitted with black textured polymer grips featuring the IMI logo. Verbatim markings on the left side of the slide read ® DESERT EAGLE .44/.41 MAGNUM PISTOL ISRAEL MILITARY INDUSTRIES LTD(I.M.I.) with the muzzle end of the barrel marked .41. The right side of the slide is marked MAGNUM RESEARCH INC. MINNEAPOLIS MINN. MADE IN ISRAEL. The serial number 95252342 is clearly stamped on the right side of the frame. This lot includes one detachable single-stack magazine with witness holes numbered 4 through 8 and stamped with 1-88 / 41 near the base. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good mechanical condition with the action appearing to function correctly, though it has not been live-fire tested. The matte black finish shows moderate cosmetic wear consistent with use, including scuffs, scratches, and finish thinning along the sharp edges of the slide, frame, and safety levers. The bore was not inspected internally but appears well-maintained based on the muzzle. The polymer grips are intact with sharp checkering and minimal handling marks. The magazine shows light finish wear but is structurally sound.
