Description
This is a semi-automatic, gas-operated AR-10 platform rifle manufactured by Daniel Defense, chambered in 7.62 NATO. The rifle features a 16 inch cold hammer forged barrel with a 1:10 twist rate and is capped with a three-prong flash hider. The upper and lower receivers are precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a durable matte black hard coat anodized finish. It is equipped with a 15 inch M-LOK free-float handguard that provides a continuous Picatinny top rail for optics and accessory mounting. It is equipped with a Geiselle SSA 2 Stage trigger, The furniture consists of a Daniel Defense glass-filled polymer buttstock and pistol grip, both featuring overmolded rubberized texturing for enhanced control. The rifle utilizes ambidextrous controls, including the safety selector, magazine release, and bolt catch. Key markings on the left side of the lower receiver include the Daniel Defense logo followed by BLACK CREEK, GA U.S.A. / MODEL DD5 / CAL. MULTI / DD5027306. The upper receiver is marked DD5V3 alongside a bullet icon containing 7.62. Visible through the handguard ports, the barrel is marked 7.62 NATO 1/10. The rifle is accompanied by its original black plastic Daniel Defense hard case, one Magpul PMAG 20-round polymer magazine, promotional materials, and an orange chamber safety flag. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in excellent overall condition, retaining approximately 98 percent or more of its original matte black anodized finish with only very minor handling marks visible on high points. The glass-filled polymer stock and rubberized grip surfaces are clean and free of significant wear. The bore is bright with sharp, clean rifling and no signs of pitting. The semi-automatic action and ambidextrous controls appear to function correctly, although we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The original hard case and accessories are in very good to excellent condition.
