Description
This CZ 457 is a bolt action rimfire rifle chambered in .22 LR, configured for precision target shooting or competitive rimfire disciplines. The rifle features a heavy profile barrel measuring approximately 20.5 inches in length including the multi-port muzzle brake, with a matte black finish throughout the metal surfaces. It is mounted in a specialized carbon fiber stock featuring a woven texture and a decorative camouflage pattern in tan, green, and copper splotches. The stock includes an adjustable cheek piece for customized eye relief and a Pachmayr Decelerator textured rubber buttpad. Aftermarket enhancements include an Area 419 15 MOA Picatinny scope rail, an Area 419 Arca-style accessory rail on the underside of the forend, and an oversized, textured bolt knob for improved manipulation. Verification of the firearm reveals the model designation CZ 457 and CZ-USA KANSAS CITY, KS on the receiver. The serial number F386559 is stamped on both the receiver and the barrel alongside a 21 proof mark. The barrel is further marked 22LR MATCH 1/2×28 indicating its match chambering and muzzle thread pitch. One detachable box magazine is included. Condition report:
The rifle is in very good condition overall, appearing to have been well-maintained with minimal evidence of field use. The matte black finish on the barrel and receiver is consistent and free of significant scratches, rust, or thinning. The carbon fiber stock is excellent, with the decorative camo accents and woven pattern remaining crisp. The adjustable cheek piece hardware is functional and secure. The action appears to function correctly, with the bolt cycling smoothly and the trigger remaining crisp. All accessory rails are firmly attached. While we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition, it presents as a high-quality, lightly used precision instrument.
