Description
This Ruger New Model Single-Six is a single-action revolver chambered for the .32 H&R Magnum cartridge, featuring an approximately 6.5-inch barrel with a polished blued steel finish on the barrel, cylinder, and frame. The firearm is fitted with smooth walnut grips incorporating silver-tone Ruger eagle medallions. Verbatim markings on the left side of the frame include RUGER .32 H & R MAG. NEW MODEL SINGLE-SIX and the serial number 650-24205 is stamped on the right side of the frame. The barrel is roll-stamped with the manufacturer address and safety warning: BEFORE USING GUN—READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM —— STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. ——. The revolver is equipped with a ramped front sight and an adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation. The configuration includes a standard loading gate and a transfer bar safety system characteristic of the New Model series. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in very good to excellent condition, retaining nearly all of its original blued finish. There is a faint cylinder turn line and very minimal signs of handling wear on the muzzle and high edges. The walnut grips are excellent with no notable dings or scratches. The bore is bright with sharp, clean rifling. The mechanical action appears to function correctly with solid lockup and indexing, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
